Sukh Sandhu is one of Australia's most experienced and widely recognised leaders in compliance, governance, risk management and quality assurance, with three decades of impact across government, industry, vocational education and training (VET) and higher education. He has held senior compliance and quality-assurance leadership roles spanning regulatory bodies, Registered Training Organisations, TAFEs, universities and corporate clients, and has personally led, designed or overseen many thousands of quality, compliance and regulatory audits across diverse industries in Australia and internationally.
As Director of CAQA (Compliance and Quality Assurance) and the CAQA Australian Higher Education Group, and as Principal Quality Auditor, he leads the organisation's regulatory advisory, audit, quality-assurance, resource-development and professional-development services. He has advised providers nationally and internationally on regulatory alignment, quality frameworks and institutional risk, and previously served as a Business Systems Project Official with Australia's national VET regulator, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
His expertise spans regulatory compliance, quality assurance and auditing, risk management and governance, ISO management systems, instructional design, accreditation and re-registration, property law, migration law and research. A Registered Migration Agent, Forbes Business Council member, United Nations representative and speaker, and a candidate for the Doctor of Business Administration, he combines deep technical authority with strategic leadership, and is a respected educator, editor, author and thought leader.

Born in Fatehabad District, Haryana, India, into a values-driven family, his father a respected businessman behind the Sandhu Soap Factory, his mother a head of nurses, Sukh embraced leadership and responsibility from a young age.
Beyond academics, he immersed himself in arts, language and performance, becoming a cultural icon at district and state level, performing lead roles in Ramleela for 12 consecutive years, honing the confidence, empathy and storytelling that define his work today.
He began his professional career at just fourteen, succeeding in competitive interviews before completing Year 12 and working alongside experienced engineers and senior professionals for a United States based organisation — an early marker of the drive and capability that have defined his career.
